It's been a crazy week. My mentor was gone from work last week and everything decided to pick up and get busy while he was away. But I think I handled it all really well, he didn't have any fires to put out when he got back (that were caused by me, at least). I've gotten a lot more confident in my abilities too.
Ive also been going to physical therapy now a few times a week to reset my hip. Starting to believe my right aide is all just a bunch of lazy joints between the shoulder issues and the hip. But it seems to be helping.
I wonder why it is that I always find myself typing out a blog while sitting in the bath. Maybe its one of the few times I get do just sit still.
School also started while my work menor was gone and once the initial panic subsided, I think I have the hang out it. Just 15 more courses to take about these 2...womp womp.
Speaking of work, i also keep getting cool items from them as we clean out one of our locations. A funeral pall (not sure how old it is, but it sure is heavy), this really cool Masonic funeral emblem, and solw really neat old furniture that totally fits the decor of my 110 year old house. Astrid likes to model it for me
Haven't made it upstairs with this 2nd couch yet.
Last night I got to cash in on the concert tickets my father had bought for Christmas and go see Ghost
It was an incredible show! Got to be on the floor (it was at the arena) and very close to the guard rails. I caught a guitar pick (not pictured) from the opening band (Nøthing Møre) by accident, and the guitar pick from Ghost hit me in the ear and I caught it!
Amazing show. But it just compounds on how absolutely exhausted I am and have been. Doesn't help that I got a bit sick and am trying to get over that by taking sweltering baths and working out hard to sweat it out.
Work will go steadily for the next few weeks, then I'll be off to Disneyland!
The farmer's market has also concluded for the season. The shop has been mostly updated (aside from photos and the few new spookyish fragrances i have yet to make). Check it out! Asyouliket.etsy.com
