I had a pretty listless day at work today. I was just wiped, I didn't rest very well last night, despite getting a good number of hours of sleep.
I ended up giving up on my work for the day and just sketched the last couple of hours I was there. Listened to some good tunes. Can't really complain. But by the end, all I wanted was to come home, prepare some tasty dinner, and then sit down and try to play some guitar. Namely, I want to learn this:

Well. I had everything mostly done cooking, except for these sausages I bought at the market last week that I was seriously looking forward to using all day today.
Except I forgot I used them over the weekend.
Well whatever. The rice I made to go with it was still kickass. I make some mean rice.
Never one to let myself dwell on stuff too long, I moved on to dusting off my guitar and give this song a try. Mind you, I suck. I've sporadically been trying to teach myself but I'm no good at it. I can play some stuff but yeah, I think I'm gonna try to take lessons.
Anywho. I pull up the tabs, realize my guitar is wildly out of tune and begin tuning it.
Snapped a string on the first strum to test the sound.
That right there is my whole week so far, in a nutshell.
*eye twitch*
Ah well. I've still got art I can work on and find some solace in.
@marajade I started laying the colors in tonight :) Just basic glazes at this point!
