I think it is very nobel to do the work that you are doing. I agree I think our society does not value our elderly enough. It should be viewed as more then a business or a job. You have the right attitude.
So how was the class last week? It doesn't sound like you had too many people. But I think bellydance would be one of the more popular classes.

and yet another blog in which i go "eek! i'm nervous!" but eek! i'm nervous. i'm teaching my first bellydance class tonight and i hope somebody shows up. and that they like it. so maybe twinace will post a goofy graffic on my comments and it will all be better.

My grandmother passed away in October. It is tough now that the holidays are apon us. But it is nice that you keep her in your memory.

y'all are sweet thanks, the show went awesome! our set wasn't perfect, (but i can be a bit of a perfectionist) but we had about 70 people there, and they stuck around and listened. we got a lot of compliments and people asking when we're playing again, so that was super exciting. that's about all i have to report right now, i'll write more later.
