i'm back! back to the default world, water pressure in the showers, and shitting in peace. i got back yesterday afternoon and we headed straight to some hotsprings, and it was just what we needed after all that dust.
it was quite a week for me! i took a lot of bellydance and yoga, i also took an amazing meditation class.
my sweetheart and i took a thai massage class that blew my mind. i played piano and sang at center camp for a moment. (not on the stage, in the corner, but it was fun!) what else? i got a lot of good energy work done on me and ate almost completely raw the whole time. (except for the white dragon noodle bar, damn they have insanely good hot sauce!)
speaking of raw food, i started a group about it.

so check it out, you don't need to have a raw food lifestyle to join. i'm going to be posting more recipes soon, all of which are original, and i'd love to hear any reviews. also if there's anything you want to see added let me know.
anyway, back to burning man. i was my old lady self and did all sorts of self exploration, healing work, and general wandering and pondering durring the day. i went out at night, but i quit drinking in april, and the night scene is just different for me now. so i missed the man burning the first time. but it's ok.
i didn't take a lot of pictures because i prefer to experience and participate, rather than be a tourist.
here are a few photos i did take:
J, our camp mate in all his night vision glory:
an amazing rainbow after a rainstorm on friday. (there were actually 2, but you can only see one in the photo_
awwwwwww.......................
with my pretty lady.
and of course, the breath taking temple burn:
it was a good experience being out there, but not an easy one. i set the intention to cleanse a lot of emotional baggage, and feel that i was pretty sucessful in my endeavor, but it was like a fuckin excorcism, if ever i've experienced one. not to freak y'all out of course, i'm fine now but it was just burly. but oh so worth it! right i'm rounding out the process by doing a cleansing fast. it's so freakin hard. and i'm so fucking hungry. so forgive any mis-spellings, i'm kinda delirious with hunger.
so yeah, i'm back. feel free to tell me how much you missed me!
