DAMN. How did it get to be August already!? Three weeks til burning man, and i still don't have a ticket. I think i have the means to get one today, but man, it's all gonna be down to the wire. It's funny too, cause i've been sewing costumes, getting the RV ready, alls I need is the ticket. I've always done things kinda backwards. The RV is looking rad by the way. It was a huge mess a few months ago, but now it has clean carpet, a beautifully painted interior and 8 curtains that sewed myself.
It's been a great past month or so. My band was on the radio twice in one week. Once we played live on the air, and once we were on a syndicated show that played in montana and idaho as well. We were also on a local morning news show to promote this bluegrass festival that we played.
All in all the festival was a blast, we met some great folks that were travling through and a lot of people were dancing and raising hell. As it should be. After burning man we're recording our first studio album. SO excitied. I've been writting songs like crazy.
What else? Some of the girls in my bellydance class are ready to perform. We're going to be dancing at this DIY festival this weekend. The girls are a little nervous but they're going to do great. I'm really proud of them for working so hard. It feels like a big accomplishment for me to see these girls performing a routine that i speant countless hours choreographing in my living room.
Otherwise lots of work and school mostly.
work is still good, school is kind of an ordeal right now. i'm not feeling super passionate about it. but what are you gonna do?
In other news, I had another set rejected. For some reason SG has only uploaded the first half to the site and it's out of order. For this reason I've decided not to submit it for second chance sundays. but here's the link if you want to check it out:

I'd like to give it one more go, but i'm waiting on the right photographer. So in the meantime consider me terminally hopeful.
Sorry i've been such a slacker guys. Life outside suicide-landia is pretty demanding right now. Hope you are all well.
