Mac Blogging Client
Since I started blogging on a daily basis (on Monday) I've been looking for a simple blogging client for Mac OS that will allow me to cross-post to at least three of the six sites on which I publish my Me Chronicles. I thought I'd found it in Ecto. I was wrong. The html encoding is wonky, the LiveJournal support is listed but non-existent, and while it's possible to publish on one's SuicideGirls blog it doesn't actually translate real html into SG bullshit-tml (so my test post ended up looking like a html editor). All this for $19.95.
I just tracked down something called MarsEdit, available for $29.95, which seems to do pretty much the same thing. Happily there's a thirty-day trial so I can see if it's worth the money. I'd love to be able to cross-post to my various blogs and not have to copy-and-paste/rewrite-html six times every time I write a blog but I haven't found many options.
Do you use a Mac? If so, do you have a blog client you like?
