So this was a pretty good month for me.
I find that since I'm a homeowner, I given my self license to raid the the thrift stores for cool stuff. I think I have an addiction to thrifting. I rarely go to find a particular item I just go to see if something catches my fancy - and that is when things kinda fall into my lap...and alot lo of cool stuff has fallen into my lap. I do, however, usually tend lean towards 40's and 50's style furniture and decor, which is why its taking me a year to furnish my crib. I've taken to heart what my west coast buddy Mia told me a while ago. Furnish your place with things "you" think is beautiful.
So on that note...
This week I scored (4) 50's Danish dining chairs for $40 and what I'm guessing is 40's/50's style bamboo sofa for $55. I don't have a dining room table yet, but that will have to wait since I my former girlfriend's sofa is taking up residence in that space until she's get her floors refinished.

Reason #1:
Thrifting IS awesome! Its also a good reason why my amigo's and amiga's receive gifts of any kind from me ("re-gifting" is the other reason).
There always seems to be a thrift store around too eh. No matter where in the f*ckin' world I am, theres always a thrift store to kill some time, find the funk, peruse the shoes or score some books or records for way too little!
Reason #2:
Incarnation. A word I previously used in a sentence in my last communication (not but 5 minutes ago eh!)
As in, "Which incarnation of Doctor Who were you watching?"
