Well looking at the recent blog homeworks @missy and @rambo set I don't really feel like I can complete them as I have never celebrated Halloween in my life and as an Aussie I don't think I should..I really don't understand why my country celebrates it.
SO I figured I'd do my own blog post for the week!
I recently went through my whole wardrobe clearing stuff out that I jsut havent worn ect and I realized something... I have HEAPS of SG merch!
Now I'm sure there are people with more but let me explain why this is so crazy to me. The postage for Australians to buy anything from the SG shop is $84.. flat rate.. so if you just want panties they are going to cost you like $100 and nobody wants to do that..
But it wasn't always like that! i'm not sure what changed but considering that fact I have more merch than the average Aussie.. well I think anyway. If there is another Aussie out there with more please correct me! would love to see people SG Merch haul.
ANYWAY here's what I've got!
All in total I have an SG single, the SG three quarter button top, SG dress, SG Blackheart Burlesque baseball tee and 2 of the underwear. I also have the skull SG panties,a bunch of stickers and the Geekology and Hard Girls, Soft Light coffee table books!
I wanna share how I came about all these items and things I remember about getting them all!
Okay so on this side of the table we actually have one of the first things I ever bought. The SG dress I bought from the Shop when I had just joined the site which was actually back in 2012 and before the site remake. I have worn this dress A LOT and its fits super well. I wear this out clubbing with a denim jacket a lot and my pink tims. Also sinve I don't own a lot of place clothes if I nee a plain black dress I just turn it inside out and wear it XD
This is the first time I wore it and I loved wearing suspenders and stockings with it! <3
Also on this side you'll see 2 pairs of panties of the Blackheart Burlesque and their baseball tee. Now these I only got reently while I was in LA! Because of the postage issue we have now, when I was visiting HQ I picked up a few items which was really amazing!! I really love the baseball tee, its super comfy and I love how colorful it is. I wore it home on the airplane and love wearing it with my overalls!
The panties each have their own story! One I got from HQ and the other was apart of what we wore for the lap dances at the SG Ball this year! So in a short period of time I scored 2 pairs! they are however two different sizes and one definitely fits better haha I may need to sell the other one...
Here we've go the baseball tee again and my other two tops! Also in my first ever purchase in 2012 I got the three quarter top which has the logo on the back and buttons on the front. I fucking love this one. I wear it around the house heaps, as well as out and it makes my boobs look fantastic! Funny enough i can't find a photo of me wearing it! lol
Also there is a black SG singlet. I also only recently got this item at the SG Ball as well! It was one of the prizes I got for winning best dressed!
Last few items! I was gifted HEAPS of stickers while I was in LA I went around giving a bunch out at the SG ball but these were the ones I kept for myself ^_^
Also another pair of SG panties which I got at HQ but I don't wear these my wife actually wears them! and A lot! the style is very her so I gave them to her a souvenir of my travels lol
Lastly we have the two coffee table books!
Hard Girls, Soft Light I bought myself from a book store in Newtown in 2013 the day before my first ever SG shoot! It was an impulse buy and I wanted it to use for inspiration and to help the photographer I chose for the job. It sits on my coffee table for people to look at and only goes away when my parents are over haha.
Geekology I also only got recently and again at HQ since I knew shipping something that heavy is crazy expensive and I knew I had the room in my suitcase for it! was so excited to get me one of these! The two books are so differently set out and I like that you can read so much more about the girls in this book.
I feel like I can really see my SG journey through these items.. it's been 4 years of collecting and I couldn't be more excited for where I'm going with SG right now. I feel really good about my last set, I'm loving the community more than ever and not jsut in my own country.
Now I just need to fill the gaps of what items I dont have! Currently wishlist for SG merch items is as follows <3 now show me your own merch! I wanna see everyone elses collection!
