Happy Birthday to meeeeee
I had my MAGICAL birthday the other day, for those who don't know your MAGICAL birthday is when you turn the age of the date you are born..
SO I turned 24 on the 24th (January) make sense?
It was by far my BEST birthday ever!! I have never been so spoiled or felt so loved and special in my life!! SO I want to share it all with you!
It actually started on Friday night, Pizza dinners for myself while I watched Adventure Time. This was after a shiftty day of locking myself out of the house in nothing but an oversized shirt arrghhh
Anyway, I got ready while drinking Sailor Jerrys with solo (yuck) before my wife came and picked me up and we went out to Soho a lesbian RnB event at Mind Night Club on oxford st!
Was a really good night! dancing and feeling amazing!! seeing friends out including an old work friend I haven't seen since I left. It was super fun! Sadly the club closed at 3:15, damn Sydney lock outs!! so we went back to chill at my friends place till 4am when I said we should go home and sleep!
Oh and during our crazy clubbing my friend Jewel asked me to be one of her bridesmaids! Her and her partner just got engaged so that was really something ^_^
The next day I felt crappy, mostly due to a lacking of sleep! I got up at like 9 and washed my hair and set it in curls and ate left of pizza before having a nap. I woke up to head into Newtown for a pre booked birthday tattoo!!
I had 3 hours booked in with Melanie Meline at LDF Tattoo for the lining of a pretty big tattoo. We powered through though and got the lining and black shading down in 2 and half hours! there was no point starting colour by then.
How awesome is it!??! I'm so happy with it and it's healing really great! usually I've gotten everything done in one sitting so its not for the healing to not be all gross and shit with no colour in it yet. I have the colouring session booked for the 12th of Feb!
Anyway my partner picked me up and we went home and I just fell right into bed asleep. SO exhausted.While my partner went out to do things.
I woke up to get ready, doing my makeup and unpinning/ styling my curls. I had had weeks to figure out what to wear knowing I had to accommodate for my new tattoo so it was easy to get ready and I was super happy with my outfit! I felt super cute and sexy ^_^
I meet my wife at the bus stop as we headed into the city for a dinner I though was just for us! But she made us get off at an earlier bus stop and wouldn't quite exactly tell me where we were going, though I had asked a month ago if we could go to a real Korean BBQ.
We get there and she says her name and they just point and say upstairs, shes like geez I can't believe they arn't even going to show up where our table is, while shes pushing for me to walk up the stairs first.. by this point Im like SHES HIDING SOMETHING!! I can always tell when my partner is lying/ making shit up haha
Anyway, all the usually suspects were there plus a surprise friend from the coast! I got a bunch of vegan body stuffs and a huge adventure time poster!!
We processed to order a bunch of meat and stuff and fried dumplings to cook and it was all so tasty!!
Then an hour in someone taps me on the shoulder and my friends who I havent seen in like 7 months Michelle and her partner Emily are there! It was so amazing!! It was perfect seeing them I had missed Michelle so much!! The dinner was awesome we left around 10:30 after i had a cake and everyone in the restaurant sang happy birthday to me!
2 couples left to go home while the rest of us went to Sydneys biggest gay club Arq for a gay RnB event called Swagger! it was the most packed I've seen arq since the lock outs came into play and the music was awesome! felt really great that night too like intense!! was really cold though so i kept stealing my friends flanno. Had some really good makeouts too hehe
It was interesting to be out at a club when the clock ticked over to my birthday! it was awesome everyone was wishing me a happy birthday!
wow we were seriously on a different level that night haha!
And I made some really sexy friends Memphis and Odesa, sezy names, sexy ladies and they were hell fun to dance with!! I tried to find photos of them for you truly did my best stalking but no luck! haha
We went home around 4 I think and kicked on back at our friends, some of the girls smoked but I literally just fell asleep on their couch, bodysuit, sore tattoo, lashes and stick on bra just out cold for an hour and half. I woke up and was like we NEED to go home NOW haha
Just fell into bed after having a quick shower and slept till 11am.. I was still tired but it was my actual birthday so I didn’t want to waste it in bed! I woke my partner up and she brings out some presents, even though we agreed my tattoo would be my only present!
I got 5 Pop Vinyls from Adventure Time! Finn, Jake, Fiona, Cake and BMO!!
We got up and got ready while my wife cooked and prepared a picnic!
We drove off and I had no idea where we were going! We even went over the harbour bridge! But not too far, we got to this really cute little park where you could see this bridge and we had lunch and laid down for a bit. It was super ncie and peaceful and I could of fallen asleep there! We had ciders, little mini burgers, mango, strawberries, krisky Kreme doughnuts and candy. It was perfect! I was so full of food!!
It started raining a bit so we went home and had another nap. SO many naps! I got up to clean the house a bit before getting ready and putting my new dress on for dinner! No surprises really at this dinner! It was just me, my wife, my parents and my brother at my favourite thai restaurant in Newtown Thairiffic!
We ordered all my favourites and then I opened up my presents! I got another 6 Pop Vinyls of Adventure Time!! Flame Princess, Lump Space Princess, Ice King, Bmo Noire, The Lich and singing Marceline
What a collection I have now! Stilll a few to go! (I already had Princess Bubblegum from Christmas)
I also got a bunch of movies as Mom knows I’m trying to collect up all my favourite which my sister took to England with her years ago.
I know what I’m doing with my days off this week!
We ended the night going back to my place to chill for a bit, have coffees and gingerbread ect. It was really nice.
What I liked about this birthday is it didn’t make me sad. I didn’t get crazy upset or angry or anything like that over the fact me and my twin sister aren’t talking right now, in fact it barely crossed my mind most of the weekend. It did feel a little weird to not of spoken to her on my birthday, and weird for it to feel like it was all mine…
But that was also what was so great about it! It was all mine.. it was all about me.
I’ve never felt so special and I think I’ve really needed that!
