Hope everyone had a fabulous Easter! I had a nice lunch with my parents on Good Friday.
I didn't expect this blog to be a rant but I feel one coming on.. lets chat about Easter. At the end of the day Easter is a holiday celebrating the rising of Jesus. FACT. If you know me through past blogs and videos you'll know I use to be a Christian but not any more.
so I got really annoyed at the amount of Facebook statuses I saw that went a long the lines of..
"I don't care/believe in Jesus but thanks for the long weekend and chocolates"
plus any pun that involved zombie Jesus or anything along those lines. Sure, celebrate the holiday. enjoy the long weekend! but don't diss on the very thing that allowed you to have this holiday in the first place. I'm all about respect. respect other peoples beliefs, morals, values, religion. you have no right to step all over that yet rep the benefits of it? It just made me really fucking mad.. something I've learnt from steering away from my parents beliefs and controlling my own life and my choices is you need to respect other peoples lives if you want them to respect yours. ya know? let be.
I wonder what the world would be like if unless you followed or were apart of said religion/belief you weren't allowed to partake in the holidays that they do. That would mean no 4 day long weekend, no eggs, no bunnies, chocolate or not. No Christmas or boxing day.. I hope you enjoy Bank/ government Holidays, New Years Eve and the Queens Birthday. Because that's all you'll get.. and probably a hangover.
I just think there should of been more respect for other peoples views present over this past weekend from the people I consider friends.. urgh moving on!
I've been a little distant recently.. sometimes SG can get a little over whelming and a little negative.. even on the front page! and I step away a little. keep to my safe happy group of friends and fans I have here. Because well that crap isn't why I joined SG ya know? I have to be thankful for the awesome people I have on this site though ^_^ they keep me coming back even when I've shyed away, scared of competition, jealousy and well hell my lacking of self esteem sometimes.. I spend a lot of time reading my feed, so I'm present but not active.. which is okay ^_^
I think this is good.. and also means I can enjoy this site as a nice escape from the world.
anywho! I'm currently picking up every shift I can to earn more money. taking paid only photo shoots, sewing more custom dress orders, getting ma hustle on!
WHY? you ask.. well SG audience Ill tell you! I am going to the U. S of A in July!! And I am just so pumped!! I'm going to get my networking on and see if I can meet some SG's and hopefuls in my travels, as well as hook up some photo shoots and dancing along the way!! Its been over a year since I've gone over seas and as usual the itch is driving me crazy!
I always say I would have more tattoos if I didn't NEED to travel so much!
Here are the main places Ill be going and things Ill be doing!
Newyork well bettersay! Im getting Married!! =D I'm meeting my twin sister there and having a tiny ceremony in Central Park with my fiancee ^_^
Las Vegas getting drunk, looking fancy, gambling, drinking and seeing showgirls.. yeah Im actually way more pumped for Vegas that I thought I would be.. probably because its been Viva recently and Im super jealous!
San Fran being a tourist. might book in some paid shoots, chill a little.. apparently san fran has good, easy to get pot?
LA basically im going to be doing a lot of shoots here, seeing all the hollywood stuff, maybe take a dance class or two, do some clubbing and stalk well every famous person I can find!! =D maybe check out SG head quarters if thats allowed! (it is in LA right?)
and maybe.. hopefully... there will be a Black Heart Burlesque Audition.. and Ill go and make all my dreams come true!!
I know... a girl can dream..
Oh and I have another set out in like 2 weeks that I shot with @pebblezink it was super fun and I think its my cutest set yet. shot on a cute little boat on a beach in the Aussie summer sun.. I'm so god damn white I basically glow haha stare at my ruffles!!
Mostly lifes pretty great these days.. I moved stores at my retail job! due to bullying.. and harassement issues.. 2 girls already left due to this one awful person.. and I was going to quit after.. well some things were said that drew the fucking last straw for me. I called the regional manager and said that I was going to quit if nothing was done and I was given a transfer to a different store that has longer opening hours and a way better staff. I've been there a month and I'm a lot happier and I have a good connection with my managers that make me feel safe there. its good!
I work, I model, I dance, I see burlesque shows, I spend time with my girlfriend, I clean, I do pilates, I sew, I do laundry, I go out dancing sometimes, I choreograph acts, I wash, dye and set my hair and sometimes that's all I have time for..
I keep myself busy. I'm a worrier, I panic and I have a growing anxiety issue that makes me think I should see someone but don't..
But I'm pretty happy =D I have this great site that I can vent to and I know people listen and I think that's pretty great. and all those things I do, as busy as it keeps me, its all great too!! =D
Anyway hope you've enjoyed my ranting, weird, random ass blog and I promise ill get to my @bloghomework next time @missy and @rambo promise!! =P
