The summer camp self shot set contest is underway! Have you checked out some of the lovely ladies' sets yet? Not sure what it is? If you haven't yet checked out the sets, do so now! There are at least 6 up right now to check out and more to come! These women worked hard to do these sets so show them some love for their hard work!
If you aren't sure what I am referring to, let me help! Last year, Suicidegirls held a self shot set contest. It must have been really fun and popular, so they did it again this year and made it a themed set contest! This year is a camp theme. Official Suicidegirls and hopefuls who were interested submitted a self shot set with a tag to show they want to be in the contest. Unfortunately, not all sets will be in the contest. However a few sets will be selected to be bumped into member review (rather than sit in the queue for a few months) starting yesterday. Members, SGs and hopefuls alike will be able to comment and like as usual on the SG/SGH set. On June 15th, the website will choose one SG set and one hopeful set that will be the winners of the contest! The winners set will be featured as Set of the Day. This is especially great for one lucky hopeful as she will turn pink!
I have submitted a self shot set this year and I submitted one last year as well. I had a lot of fun last year so I thought it would be a great time to do another one and more experience. While things didn't go as planned (see one of my previous blogs), I still enjoyed shooting the set and getting the experience. My set has not yet been chosen as one that gets bumped into member review and I am still hoping, but if it doesn't it will be coming up come October or November (although I will feel super bad because I have one that is set to come out early October!). I'm still crossing fingers though! Maybe my bad luck with shooting the set will bring good luck in the long run lol.
On a different note, I hit over 2100 followers! Wow! Thank you all for following me and supporting me in my journey to pinkdom. I may not be as active on here as I would like (I have gotten a little better) but I sincerely appreciate all the support you all give! It really does mean a lot. I also want to thank all the SG's and SGH's that have already given love on my self shot set! Yes you can love a self shot set (or any set for that matter) while it is in the queue but you will only see the cover photo until it becomes live (good things come to those who wait ;) ). I really really appreciate the love people have given it because it was such a bad day trying to shoot it and then editing...nothing went right and I felt really down about it but thought I would just give it a shot...so thank you all for the support! <3 <3
