SG Homework : What Do I want to be remembered for...

I want to show what stretch marks and scars are just as beautiful as a flawless smooth tummy.

As a mother of two I have stretch marks and a cesarian scar. I feel beautiful and strong having what some see as flaws, I feel like they are proof that those of us with these marks are stronger for having the courage to stomp out the negativity that some people place on our bodies.

I have two children a 7yr old and a 3yr old.

Here are pictures of me before my body transformation and after.

I was tan, toned and had no tattoos

Now here is how I look

I don't have a tight tummy and you can't see it but I have a scar from my cesarian. As you can see I've changed. Personally I find it beautiful.

So @rambo as a mother maybe you can relate to the feeling of pride I have in my marks and scars.

@missy thank you for creating this community where all women have a chance to show thier unique beauty and feel empowered no matter out shape, size, pricing, tattoos, hair color, scars, or markings from life experiences.

I love your photographs. Scars and marks are the body's way of telling it's history. They serve as aide-memoirs - I can look (with some difficulty) at the scar on my left thigh, and think: 'October, 1975; barbed wire, six stitches.' Scars and blemishes are characterful, like the little nicks and dings you might find on a beloved car, perhaps. Wear them with pride. They make a beautiful person like yourself, even more beautiful. 😘😘😘
