Hello lovelies.... Well, my lover came by last night and we busted out the AC unit finally. It was so hot in here he must have felt sorry for me and helped me get the damn thing back in the window. Its WONDERFUL! Its over 90 degrees outside at this very moment. I did get up earlier this morning to repot some plants. I had an old palm that had been in a backroom for a few months and was dying so I hope the new soil, being outside and yummy water help bring him back to life. My 4 year old pineapple plant also had a surprise for me. She was finally ready to seperate from her one year old baby, so some roots had to be cut, and there was some pulling apart, but neither look too much worse for the wear. Hopefully neither of them die! "Piney" has been around so long moving from house to house with me she's like a pet. I had hoped i had gotten a "male" plant so I could actually get to eat a home grown pineapple, but I just get new pineapple plants instead. Hopefully her newly freed baby with produce a pineapple for me in the years to come......
Anyway, it was a great morning. I got to be alone outside with my dog and my plants. Rinsed off my car, got every plant a new home and a good long drink, got the dog out on the tie and he played in the hose water.... and now we're chillin inside in the AC. Its been a great day so far! I look forward to this evening.
