Just had a most fucked up argument. I guess the overlying theme was gender roles. I guess I consider myself liberal in my beliefs, but much of the world still does not. Im living with a group of other international students at the moment and a discussion began asking about asking someone out. I am of the mind that either a male or female should be empowered to take the leading role in this situation. Apparently this is not the way it should be and the other party was honestly offended that I would suggest such a thing. Just weird. all for now....
