I tasted my salvation on the tips of your lips
I see the motion of the ocean in your hips when you walk

Because I feel the power you can wield when your hands touch mine
Your eyes can unlock the deepest depths of my shames and make me confess to anything
Your smile puts my spine in jeopardy, because Im willing to bend over backwards
just to see it..
But Im straight as an arrow now
Looking God square in all his eyes
Asking if this is a blessing or a test
Since Ive got a D average in the subject of Godsends
Im reaching for white out, trying to erase my mental track record
And approach you with a clean slate.
So heres the pen youll need to sign on my dotted line
But I only want you to write with inspiration.
Impulses dont look good on paper
So take your time, and think about what you want to write
Me and my white empty space and blue lines arent going anywhere
Just be careful when your tip touches my lines
Theres no eraser on that pen in your hand

The crazy part is, I was asked to write this about someone I met a year ago and what thoughts were going through my mind when we "clicked".
And then SHE turned out to be crazier than Martin Lawrence in a jogging suit..............such is life.
