YESTERDAY,..... what can i say about yesterday,.....
Well it started decent enough. Woke up at 0600 did a few CT-scans, clocked out at ye' ol' hospital and made my way to the radio station to set up some ad times for the cd release show (which was oldly enough an extremely reasonable price,...huh who knew). Then i realized i had left my on-call pager and the keys to the radiology apartment in my pocket,...... So i then had to trek back 45mi to drop them off,.... After my round trip excursion, i arrived at la casa, cooked some breakfast and head to the printing company thats handling our CD inserts!!
THEY LOOKED AMAZING!!!!!!
just one problem,....THEY ARE THE WRONG FUCKING SIZE!!!!!!
we gave them a reference cd insert and they assured us be for printing that they would be correct. I just cant fathom not checking the first one before you printed 100!
Now its sat. they're not open, memorial day is monday so i doubt we can get a hold of them then, and the cd release show is FRI!!!!
I needed to eat 2 hand fulls of zanax (Alprazolam) at this point!
but all is not to fret the cds came out great and the cases are intact, so i guess we'll be making a trip to the printers on tues morning before leaving out to see HARVEY MILK in Birmingham, Al.
Anywho, after that we had a practice, sans broc, that went well. I then moped back home and settled into a nice nice scotch and went to slumberland.
I truly hope this works out, hard to have a cd release show with no cd's.
