And you as well, my dear! I pulled your autographed playing card out of my purse the next day and giggled. What a night!

A friend of mine suggested going to some of these workshops on account of the fact I thought of maybe doing some stand-up. What say you, do you see it helping with something like that?

HEy, that rules.

I am driven in life by the discomfort that I feel within a moment. Discomfort acts as an indicator, in most cases, that I have reached a precipice. A moment where I have comprehended an end condition, but have not found the thoughts, actions, or confidence in both to reach it.
In most cases, when in control of my faculties, my brain interprets my body's...

It might be presumptuous to say that I am doing Bad Improv but it is really starting to feel like it. This is actually positive because previously I was doing Worse Improv.
At the start I was not emotional invested in my performances. It was about having fun. I was there to play games. Simply understanding the rules of the game were enough to warrant...

I totally thought it started at 8:30. And checking my calendar says 7. Sorry that I'm a moron when it comes to my crazy Sunday schedule.
I sometimes play a game while I'm walking alone. I will close my eyes while continuing down the street and see how far I can make it before I open my eyes again. I try to trust my memory of the surroundings and the put trust in my other senses. I never get very far before I find myself with my eyes cracked slightly or...

I was just reading this and found it very informative.
Why, I had no idea that it was the atomic number of nitrogen, for example. Learn something new every day, it seems.

I am often lulled asleep by the immensity of the details which weigh heavy on my life. It is in this ebb that I am nearly unreachable in an intellectual sense.
A particular document was suggested to me that I had wholly ignored for a number of months. The gravity of the material, as it was described to me, did not seem relevant at that...

For me, handling the future is the hardest part. .That being said, I tend to find that taking care of the present at least makes dealing the future a tad bit easier.
The past is a whole new ball of wax. You have to deal with it and not ignore it. Writing, meditation, whatever. It just needs to be handled. You obviously do a lot of your processing through writing. And it's an excellent avenue for contemplative thought.

In my youth, manic depression was explained to me, at best, as someone prone to "episodes" every two years. They were the equivalent of a modern day werewolf. Losing all control of their mental faculties, sociopaths, they would move through society committing base sexual acts, engaging in rampant spending, and violently attacking those that stood in their way....

XI. Moments of Many Loves
We had reached open waters. All the darkness in which we dwelt, the problems that had transpired, seemed as though it were behind us. We set out with the wind on our backs and our face turned towards the new challenges ahead. We stood together.
This solidarity arrived in the wake from the implosion of another friend's relationship. It's interesting...

I just reread this and I wish I had as much clarity with words as you do about the past. I'm envious.
As for tickets to the current saga, there is one less act, as I just got off the phone with Mono Boy. We chatted for 45 mins. and it felt as if I was speaking to the cardboard cutout version of him. I said that life is too short to be around people who aren't super double awesome.
Usually the antagonists and the foils are obvious to me and this time I'm not so sure.....

What follows is something written long ago, it's actually the same story posted on my website with hefty changes for the purposes of reading aloud. I hadn't looked at it since I read it and I hadn't thought about it. But it was a fairly evocative piece that with a bit more spit could be worth something to my name.
Lastly, and the most important...
