today i saw a very very large turtle crossing the road when i was driving home. and when i say large i mean HUGE. thats been the highlight of my day so far.
tomorrow is my last day of classes for the semester. thank god. i have been waiting for this day forever. sure, i still have finals next week but thats better than classes at this point. this semester has been dragging on so long. i decided not to take summer classes. i just want to work. i think i just need the break. too much has been going on in my life.
this site is like its very own happy little family. and best of all i finally have someone on here that i'm acctually friends with;
xAudrey. its not like i even live in the middle of nowhere, its just most of it sucks. so to everyone from my area this website would be too "strange" for them. someone please take me away.
so i finally saw the amityville horror this weekend. it was to my surprise very good. i remember how cheesy the original was. however this one left a mark. i can't say it was amazing but def. worth checking out.
last night i drove around and listened to the slackers with matt just because it was nice out. hmm...that band puts me in such a good mood.
i worked outside all day today cutting down trees. i now know i'd much rather work outside than inside.
what happened to glassjaw? i miss them.
i can't wait for saturday. bestfriend's family owns a campground in the mountains near scranton. its the first day they open and there is a huge party with bloomsburg U. should be fun trying to go to work the next day.
on monday night i went to croc. rock to see a static lullaby and bleed the dream. i love working at the radio station. i get to go to all these shows for free. a static lullaby was very good. its kinda hard though to enjoy the headliner when your not a die hard fan. however bleed the dream got my attention. they were incredible. its really ashame their drummer died of cancer a few weeks ago. after the show, i ended up hangin out and talking to their bass player Kevin for awhile. he's one of the nicest people i've ever met. he told me to give him a call this week because he's going to do some stuff for my show. should be very cool. but seriously i wish more people were like him. he's also a very good representation of how a band should treat the people who put the money in their pockets.
speaking of the radio show....as i promised i finally took pictures of the station. so here are a few from last weeks show...
