So...I'm thinking about buying into a horse time share. Did you know they actually have horse time shares!? I sure as hell didn't. I havent ridden for years, but I think I want to start again.

I wonder what the stable owner will think when I show up with my full calf motorcycle boots and black leather jacket.

Urban cowboy my ass. Ain't no sequins...

OMG!! That's what I was going to do when I was in West Virginia. Once I have the vet bills paid off for Maxwell, I plan on re-evaluating another horse time share. Thank goodness I'm not the only one who thinks that's an awesome idea.

You're riding outfit sounds pretty interesting...I keep a pair of black chaps in my car at all times as I still ride 2-3 times a week for my job.

Bioinformatics, you say? That's the hotest field around. I worked at MIT's Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research before retiring to my current gig. Keep up the good work!

For the radiant shekinah...

The sun halos the glory that is her auburn beauty,
burning ever brighter with the jealousy
known only by those who stand an overshadowed second.

My vision burns as I gaze into her radiance,
distracted only by the depth of her eyes
which hold the stars as does a cloudless night sky.

Body wars against soul with its instinctual self...

She is quite radiant, isn't she?

Hey man. I'm denying your friend request, but just because I'm trying to keep it to people I've actually met in real life or correspond with a lot via the site. So nothing personal, but my list is too big for me to keep up with the way I'd like to as it is and I'm trying to cut it down. smile

Gosh, gee...golly. I don't know what to say.

I, er..

This the most intriguing line:

Body wars against soul with its instinctual self protection,

I liked this so much...I thought I'd share it with the world. Although, it still belongs to the lovely leola for whom it was written.

At your whim,
as the very words pass sweetened lips,
I alight my stallion to slay dragons
or simply fall at the feet of my
Darkened Angel
Whos locks shimmer like
The wings of the blackbird
In the moonlight
At...

BTW...You should post your replies in MY journal...that's kind'a the standard around here for communication. That way you know when someone has offered a response.

Ah, but that's why I don't do it - because I'm a rebel!

Wait... I just did it. Crap.

Thanks to BrainFromArous...I am happy to present you with the punchlines to MY 5 all time favorite off color, politically incorrect, morally repugnant jokes :-)

1. "No...but do you have a little gold <insert racial slur here>?"
2. "Hello? Jim's mortuary? Yeah...the dead ones' full again."
3. Said his name was Chuck.
4. Beer nuts are under 50 cents, but deer...

And Starbuck said she dreamt about you last night.

Now that's dreamy!

So fear not. You are loved by those near you and those afar. Ride, live, desire, explore. Valentines day is just to remind those who live lesser lives how to live as you do now.

Wow, thank you. blush

So...living life to the fullest. Something we all wish to do, and yet so few of us have any training with.

This most recent thought process began as I was reading my Chemistry book, in review for a new college class starting the 23rd. It was this Saturday afternoon (rainy...this may have something to do with it) and, after about three chapters I began to...

Lol, Indeed it is.

Though I have to say, if that is what happens when you read your Chemistry text, I think you should be more careful about what you read.

I mean, all of that thought and all you got out of it was homemade pizza and a dirty kitchen.

biggrin

Subject line: Did you know 67% of women are not happy with you

Shit. I didn't even realize I KNEW 67% of women...not to mention having pissed them off. Boy am I glad someone told me!

Rescue diver, hum? Congrats! My youngest brother (oldest of 7 siblings) just got his first OW cert this week. Now we all dive. The dive boats all get nervous with us all on board -- we're trouble. biggrin

Thanks for the compliments on the pix. I'd love to dive the kelp forrests over your way. That is on my "List."

Thoughts of the day:

I am bored and have no life.

Microbiology is frighteningly cool.

I can't decide if I should go back to school for cellular biology, or take a trip to Europe on the back of a Motorcycle.

Maybe I'll do both :-)

So many things to do, and so little time. Maybe...Ill get my degree in Microbiology, solve the aging problem, and...

Thanks for the comment and for the on liberty link. I will research when im finished. I am, at the moment trying not to let outside opinions effect my outcome. I gave myself a few rules on this one . I only plan on looking at the basic explanation of each religion and cover as many as possible. I've stopped now at 65.

I'm trying to cut though some of the bullshit that I have heard and get to the bottom of what these people believe in and maybe for my own mind separate bad religion from the bad religious. Like the homosexual example you gave in relation to the church, the same can be said for the role of women in the eyes of Islam . I think these things are less to do with the religion itself and more to do on how society has formed it self around the religion and the social climates pressure on determining what is and what is not important.

As I said I really knew nothing about this subject until I started so I'm interested to see where my virgin mind takes me.

Well, if you'll notice, all the women in my favorites are over 30 and they definitely rock my socks.

No time for photoshooting at this time... in the middle of a move AND a hurricane... yay! The excitement never ends.

Unless "Kristea" is my long-lost, younger, half-sister from California, nope... don't know her.

I say go for the trip across Europe on the motorcycle and then do the school... life's too short to chose just one. wink

So...had surgery on the inner ear last Wednesday. Went surprisingly well...although I have franken-ear right now with all the stitches and swelling. Outlook: optimistic. It has already improved the symptoms caused by the initial problem, and it has only been two days. Looks like I will be getting my life back after all...except for probably SCUBA. No diving anytime soon...maybe ever. Have to see. Can...
