why do people believe you had to "look" a certain part to be accepted by any group.
I was reading about what SG is going through, and one person commented
"he doesn't even embrace the scene he claims he supports, he's not goth, or punk, or even emo"
can someone explain to me why does someone have to dress like "a crowd" to be apart of it?
oh yeah my life's goal is to become a part of a group...fucking morrons, people have no idenitity whatsoever. I suppose thats why they call you the rabble. so go on. have "other people" speak for you, and not yourself. be that person who says " why didn't i think about that"
i like punk, and goth, but why do I have to dress like them to become them.
guess what? I also like hip hop shhhhhhh, but I don't dress like it.
a republican wears a bow-tie, and punk means you have tattoo's and listen to no use for a name right? christians are usally from the right .black people usually do crime, and white people are the cause of everones problems?
it's good that you fit people into groups. catergories. and this was supposed to be the land of tolerance.
but I can't fault the entire punk, emo, goth comminity for one persons stupid comments
it just annoys me sometimes

Ive had this same discussion with Zagan a li lwhile ago. It makes no sence to devote yourself to one genre so much. I for one want to see people do things cuz its what they want to do and would LOVE to see people break away from the steriotypes more (example..I want to see a country, cowboy type of guy with a face full of piercings)
Still, it's no skin off my back.
