...so I'm watching this thing on VH1 about race and everything. like how people think black people are scary, or how can you get a getto-pass, or interacial realtionships. I must admit it's funny as hell, only because it seems to make fun of itself. it's amazing that like 30 years ago. this type of show would have been taboo, but I must admit. I do find it entertaing.
I just hope that people don't watch this show, and think they know everything. get a black, asian, latino, white friend. ask them questions damnit. the sad thing about TV these days is that these shows like to tell you how cool or bad this or that was. "i love the 80's" or "awesomely bad songs". who the fuck told you what was cool or not ? last time I heard it was a matter of opinion.
everybodies testing each other out these days, cultures, races, music are all intermingly. I love it. For me, theres nothing better than learning about another race, creed's problems, dreams, history, culture...it's the way to be for me at least. theres been so many rules that previous generations almost had to follow, and it seems these days people are saying: fuck the rules!
couldn't be more happier.

p.s I've only read one trade of Slepper so far, but enjoyed it. Also From Hell is one of my all time favorite graphic novels. What do you think of Strangehaven?
