I cried for you
Washed you away with my tears
Realized I won't get to have what I want to have
Until another life, another time.
And you clung to me
Knowing you were racing
Down my cheeks and onto my sleeves
Who couldn't catch you - they were already too wet.
And you held me
Closer than you've ever held me
And tried like hell to get back inside me
To put back all that I just purged.
And I think it worked
God, I'm so pissed but I think you won
I can't get you out of my head again
And the fight in the dog has whittled down to none.


I'm glad my poetry is so happy! That's got to get me brownie points, right??? Nothing says I love you quite like crappy depressed poetry from a month ago...

I am very sad to have to go back to school... I am going to miss spending all my time with you doing absolutely nothing. Don't know what I'm going to do... Damn classes...
