the grossest thing ever is the smell of your wrist and your watch after you've been sweating. at least with the thick-band leather ones. ewww. way worse than ear cheese.
been awhile since i did the update thing...
i just got back from warped tour. let me just say, if i had paid for it, i probably would have been mad. we didn't find out that we got the free tickets until about 2 this afternoon, which was incidentally when hit the lights went on.
so we got there at almost 4, saw atreyu, my chemical romance, emery, and bleed the dream. honestly, there weren't that many bands i wanted to see. i missed underoath and boys night out, which was disappointing, but other than that... i wasn't very pleased with the line up. last year had coheed and cambria, taking back sunday, etc. and they kicked ass. (life is just not okay without TBS shows regularly and it's been far too long for me.)
so. yeah. as there was no paying, it was worth it to hang out with some cool kids from back home. HTL is sticking around tonight and we're going to party it up. i'm so excited to hang out with them. i miss those kids.
other things... girls' night last night was fun. unfortunately, i missed a lot of it to see the madison voice play at high five. and by the time i got home and had another drink, i was passed out. next time: eat food before drinking.
my mommy comes on tuesday!! i'm so excited i could piddle all over myself! her arrival means the jellybean (my sister is sooo much bigger now than in that picture. it's ridiculous) is going to be here soooo soon, which is going to be the best thing ever! every time i see my sister's name on the caller ID, i think it's them calling me on the way to the hospital.
other family stuff tomorrow. my neice turned 6 on friday. 6 how is that possible? tomorrow is her birthday party, so i'm heading over to indy for that and to hopefully hang out with my friend matt who moved out there. i am not looking forward to the long drive, but i love being with the kids, so...
now it is definitely time for a shower. there's also supposed to be a target run, but... i'm not sure redviolet or myself are up for that. one word: LAZY.
oh... also, i'm way sorry that i didn't get to go to bentos and see everyone! i'll be there next time!
