i am leaving shortly to go to my sister's wedding. i was supposed to leave 2 hours ago. i decided sleep was more important, though the fact that my mother keeps calling me every ten minutes to see if i've left yet might have been incentive to get up.

i have tried to come up with a way not to go and to not have my family hate me. instead of succeeding at this, i have decided my next goal is to scare the living shit out of the in-laws (who are supposedly very stereotypical new york jew. no offense to either new yorkers or jews, but when you fit the stereotype, you fit the strereotype. good job.) and horrify the asshole who is being added to our family. whether i will succeed at this or not, only time will tell. ML and i went out last night to look for a proper outfit, but had no luck. i acquired a very nice hat, though.

other than the bullshit wedding, nothing much else has been going on. it was nice to see everyone at bentos! missed seeing some of you there, though.

my best friend left yesterday. i miss her already. things are much better when i have my erin around.

anyway. i better be off before my mother calls again.
