I'm at a stop sign,
waiting for the right of way
i swing my head back
I see a narrow road, the one I laid
it winds out behind me
the turns I took, the turns that took me
once I built a freeway
I couldn't stop speeding along it
I never built an exit
I never crashed
there were no cars around
no map knew the route of my concrete vien
no collisions
no one to stop me
buildings whizzed by
reminding me of how was fast I would move for the rest of my life
Then there was a horse galloping along beside my window
it reminded me of the clutch I held,
the choice i could make
to trust a beast to lead me to safety
the horse turned, led me to this stop sign,
he has now given me the right away.
