THANK YOU all so much for the love on Bloom shot by the super talented @venus! It was so much fun to shoot, even though it did take me several minutes to pick flowers out of my hair…Note to self: When donning ridiculously long locks, remember to bring detangler with you if you're going to be in water.
I wish I would have notated that before shooting, but nonetheless, it came out beautifully thanks to @venus, @sunshine and @toxic who were also there be flower assistants!
My favorite shots (all of them are my favorites, but these are my favorite favorites):
Seriously, thank you all for the continuing support, I have some more AWESOME things coming your way….
LIKE THIS!
It was an honor and a privilege to get to shoot with my very best friend @radeo. She's the ying to my yang and I wouldn't be where I am today without her…
That being said, let me back track a little bit for you…
I became a suicide girl back in 2006 and I didn't know it at that time, but my life would be forever changed.
I've met all of my best friends through and because of this site. My self-confidence has grown. My creativity has blossomed. My ability to be a good friend and love increased astronomically. I take risks that are worth taking now and I do not let fear rule my life anymore. I grew up a lot and you all watched; loving and supporting me the entire way.
I will be forever grateful to Suicide Girls (@sean and @missy, I'm looking at you) for giving me the opportunity to figure myself out and then, ultimately, be myself as a part of SG. It's been a long journey and every step has been a lesson and a blessing.
I was never very good at being comfortable in my own skin. I was never good at allowing people to know me. I was in constant fear of being judged. This is mostly due to the fact that high school was not all that great. That is, after all, why i chose the name Bully. I was bullied EVERYDAY in high school. I won't go in to detail there, but Bully is the antithesis of what I am, but I wanted to take that name back for myself. Even so, it's hard to peak out of a shell you've built over ten years.
I am the happiest I have been in a long time and here is why:
I have an amazing family (obviously, this includes my Matilda and my Monroe).
I surround myself with people with beautiful souls.
I appreciate and enjoy life/nature to the absolute fullest.
I eat what I want to eat (this is mostly candy….but I like candy).
When I do something for someone, I don't expect anything in return.
I'm thankful for what I have.
I accept my goofy, dorky personality as an asset (this is why I twirl sometimes for those of you who follow me on Instagram @pupperazzi and for those that don't, I'll post it here for you).
So back to @radeo, she's been my beacon of light through all of these positive changes. I know you all love her already and I'm just here to say it's warranted. She's a beautiful person inside and out.
I'm sure there are more reasons, but it's hard to nail them down to paper.
ANYWAYS, what I'm trying to say is thank you for all of the support throughout the years. I'm doing my best to use 2014 as well as I can. There is more on the horizon for me and I can't wait to be able to share those with you. Cooking up a little something with @sunshine as well, just have to keep practicing my photography, but it shouldn't be long.
In my last blog, I alluded to a new change coming up for me and I wanted to tell you all that I did it! I opened up my own Etsy shop where I sell things that I make and vintage items I find. People seem to really love the Mystic Headdresses I make and so I wanted to pass along the link to my shop if any of you want to take a gander!
Here are a few photos of my pieces starring some faces you should recognize…@arwen and @damsel shot by @radeo.
Every head piece I make is one of kind. ;)
I also have a pretty phenomenal new Matilda in the Movies coming out this weekend (or sooner possibly) so stay tuned for that….AND a joke video. Just have to solidify which one of my showstoppers that I'll be sharing.
I hope you all have a great rest of the week and I'll talk to you soon!
Puppy kisses,
B
Also, posted the twirling video in my video section for you. Twirl your cares away guys. Trust me, it works.
