Happy 2014 all! This blog is long overdue and it's going to contain all kinds of randomness. Photos, videos, plans, adventures and, duh, puppies.
In just a few days, my set with @venus goes up in Member Review! It's my first bath set and it came out precisely the way I wanted it to. I hope you guys like Bloom as much as I do. Take a page from my book and hop in a milk bath for valentines day, whether you're single or not, it'll be a good time…I promise.
Now let me back track to the beginning of the new year…
I'm making HUGE changes. Huge, positive, scary changes. I fully committed myself to chasing down some dreams and doing whatever it takes to make them a reality. So far so good. I'll be delving more into the world of photography and I'll also be opening up my own Etsy shop (stay tuned). I'm a creative girl and the ole 9-5 wasn't leaving me much time to do anything…I'm a crafty, thrifty lady and in order to be happy, I need to nurture those qualities before I lose them. A lot of things have come to light since 2013 ended, family problems, puppy problems, you name it. This is going to be great year for me, for the simple reason that I'm going to make it a good year for me.
It couldn't have started off any better than getting to attend the shootfest in LA with @sean and babes from all over North America! I got to see my favorite little cub, @radeo and reunited with @alissa after something like 5 years! It was amazing insanity.
I shot two sets, one with @alissa (duh) and one with @radeo! I literally cannot wait to share those with you…
I'll get the writing part out of the way early, and leave videos and photos for you at the end. A little something somethin for reading this whole thing. ;)
So back to getting my creative juices flowing...
One of my outlets has been a project I started with, the one and only, Matilda the Hun! For those of you who don't know her, she's in my cub's newest set; @radeo - Tilly.
What this project entails is taking classic movie scenes and recreating them with stuff around my house or items that I've thrifted. Throw in Tilly in the appropriate role and voila! Monroe does make appearances as well, but Monroe is kind of a diva and doesn't cooperate well. :/
It all started with the Tilly dirty dancing short that I did this past summer, it was so fun that I wanted to keep it going…
