i'm so fucking bored with the radio.
i'm sick of these pre fab punk/alternative groups that are completely clusterfucked and generic by then.
i'm sick of the stand-by variety they have by throwing in a white stripes or radiohead song. too little too late.
the riaa took out a huge ad in usa today threatening legal action against music dowloaders. i think we've just enterd the "looting" phase of file sharing. get it all while you can!
personally i haven't really used kazaa for a wile anyway. i haven't bought any cds either, but that's because there really hasn't been any music i want period.
this has been my sunday night rant on the state of music.

Keep your music TRULY independant
(and local to boot)
edited to add, I had to find something to replace kazaa, the reason I felt justified in using it was I hate huge media conglomerates (sp?) and the fact they they have a bad habit of fucking musicians in the ass on a regular basis.
I've been trying to get out and see more local bands and buying cd's straight from them. I also have friends who have excelent taste in music, they probably won't catch you burning cd's from a friend. any of the larger libraries can also be an excellent source of borrowable music to burn. sorry, i've put quite a bit of thought into this subject over the past year and a half.
