it was another fine Thursday here, so just like the past two weeks, i took advantage of it, and went up to the gun range. i was able to vent my frustrations out again, which feels good. got to shoot for about 3 hours.
i did get sun burn again tho. damn you pale skin.
anyways, i fired off some 9mm in my Sig P226, then shot half a brick worth of Federal .22 in the GSG-5. my brand new red dot died on me about 30 mins into shooting, i dont know if it was the battery or not, im gona check it out later. but the worst part is for some reason i had numerous problems with the Remington .22LR ammo. most of the rounds failed to eject properly, some didnt fire but just got ejected 2 at a time, and one, which scared the shit outa me, actually had the rim blowout and all the powder blew back into my face as it burnt. that was a close call. but i'm ok.
after that i got to shoot some other guns that people had there. had me a go on a new SIG 556 rifle. i like it now i want one, but there's no way i can afford it. shot off some other 22 rifles and an SKS. even had me a go on someones cowboy wheel gun.
now im off to go clean the guns.
