tommorow finishes my three week class in seattle

home to portland for like 8 hours, then off at 4 am to the airport for new orleans

back to the ship on tuesday

off to seattle for 3 weeks of class

spanakopita- spinach and feta in phyllo dough

grilled chicken and steak strips in a sesame-spicy teriyaki marinade

Brie and pesto fondue with assorted breads

Guinness stout ginger cake with vanilla bean ice cream and a home made caramel sauce

back on land, got 4 more hours on my back tuesday, up to 10 now

heading home this afternoon

insomnia, it's not just a problem, it's a way of life


this morning at around 2 am we had a monstrous storm pass over the ship.. lightning everywhere, and when the rain hit it flooded our decks in less than 15 minutes..from dry metal to water 4 inches deep in spots in 15 minutes

busy busy

out to sea.. something like 100 miles off the coast of louisiana... i loooove holiays at work

at least the pay is nice
