Wow.... it's been a while...
Well since the last time I wrote, things have gotten much better for Grrlhavoc and me, I seemed to have turned over a new leaf in life, I have turned 22, and quit smoking cigarettes (TODAY).
WOAH! A lot has happened... The cigarette thing is really hard, but I am using the patch and am chewing tons of Wrigley's and Bubble Yum... and I only had one cigarette tonight (after a REALLY difficult call at work.) I am very proud of myself. I really don't want to smke anymore. I don't want to stink, or die young.
My precious Grrlhavocis so wonderful to me. She gave me the best birthday present I could have ever asked for: Happiness, LOTS of Attention... oh, and a ring (not just any ring, only the most beautiful ring I have ever had, the one I have been wanting for quite some time now). Things are so good for both of us right now. Our lives together are really growing and becoming quite beautiful. I cannot imagine myself growing old with anyone but her.
I also had the best birthday, I think I have ever had, I had dinner with my 8 closest friends, my beautiful girlfriend, and my awesome Mom and Dad (who are divorced and spent the whole 3 hour dinner chatting up a storm.) We all had the best time! It was just really laid back, great fun, and lots of good conversation. I got wonderful presents from my friends, and my family, and of course, you already heard about my most special present. All around I just really had FUN!
I have never been as happy with myself and my life as I am right now. Along with my relationship, that continues to blossom every day.
To My Lover:
*She Walks in Beauty*
by: Lord Byron
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that's best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes:
Thus mellow'd to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies.
One shade the more, one ray the less,
Had half impair'd the nameless grace
Which waves in every raven tress,
Or softly lightens o'er her face;
Where thoughts serenely sweet express
How pure, how dear their dwelling place.
And on that cheek, and o'er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!
ahh... love...
