So I love to cook. No, really. i LOVE to cook. I would go and try to be a chef but I don't want to work in a stressful kitchen in 12 hour shifts, i want to cook random stuff with what i have, not worrying about a menu.
anyway, I said to my mum the other week, I'll cook one night, just let me know what you want me to do. So I turn up and in the kitchen she's got a recipe from the internet, all in weird weights that I've never used before (wtf is an ounce, and theres over 32 of them before they go to the next weight up??!). and I end up hand making spigot and meatballs,my style (basically with whatever to hand). It ended up looking like this. Oh, and I decided to make it like a pasta bake. Because why the hell not?
Pre-cooked:
Post cooked - with some mozzarella slices on top.
She also left a butternut squash. I have no idea why. It wasn't needed and none of us really eat it. So anyway, it's been sitting therefor a couple of days, and I'm toolkit was gonna go off it it wasn't used . And I think, 'bugger this', i'm making something. 5 minutes on google, finding my new favourite site (yummly, check it out and thank me later fellow foodies ;) ) and I end up with butternut fritters. And it only took like 20 minutes to make, including grating and peeling the WHOLE squash.
So yeah , this is what I've made this week. And sorry for the shitty quality of some of the photos. If people like then I might start making some videos of stuff that I make.
In the mean time I'm also going to start doing videos around Prague and maybe some reviews of places that I eat or events that I go to.
Let me know what you think of that idea :)
