Saw 2 good shows this week. I have been going to concerts with my brother since KISS in 1978 and we still like to get to as many shows as we can. Both shows this week were at the Metro in Chicago. Local H on Tuesday which was stellar as usual, and Thursday was the first time I saw Ted Leo & the Pharmacists. Punk Rock for grown ups. Great songs and a funny guy. I wish I could be a cool rock star like that. Next up after my vacation in Bogota- The Reverend Horton Heat and the Supersuckers, again at the Metro. I will be drinking heavily at that show, and I expect a smart looking phsycobilly crowd. Can't wait.
