RETRIBUTION! BUAKU WINS REMATCH, KNOCKS SELF OUT IN 3RD ROUND
(Seattle, WA.) On the second floor of a North Seattle apartment, Buaku defeated himself Saturday night by KO at 1:52 in the 3rd round before a crowd of 1. The win last night avenges an earlier loss to himself nearly 2 years ago at the Battle for Barrow, where he lost by TKO to Buaku in the 4th.
In a complete reversal of what happened 2 years ago, Buaku wore himself down in the first couple of rounds with a flurry of jabs and hooks, putting himself on constant defense and never letting himself go on the offensive. At the beginning of the 3rd round, Buaku kept up the relentless barrage on himself. Buaku landed a right jab, followed by a vicious left hook that stunned his opponent, which left himself open for the finishing right uppercut to his chin. This sent Buaku crashing to the canvas in a heap and out for the 10 count.
At the press conference afterwards, a victorious and dejected Buaku faced the media. "I feel great! I've been waiting for this for the past 2 years. I'd like to thank my family, friends and all my fans out there for being behind me!" Buaku also apologized for his lack of focus and training before the fight. "I'm sorry everyone..this one is on me. I really didn't put much effort into training for this fight. Hats off to myself for the victory. I really wanted it more than I did." But Buaku added, "This isn't over..not by a (expletive) longshot." Buaku's pet cat and manager, Cloud, also added "Mow..," then began licking himself.
Buaku's record stands at 23-2, with the 2 losses being to himself.

And you are right, morals are indeed in short supply down here! I'm a prime example of what happens to nice folks.
