Where should I begin?
I finally got my ass registered today. I found out that in Washington, you can register through the mail until 30 days before the election. After that, you have 15 days to go to the county auditor and register for an absentee ballot. I'm glad that I did, not becuase I think my vote would make a big difference, but it gives me the right to bitch, piss and moan for the next four years. All I need to do now is get my license plates before Roscoe P. Coltrane slaps me with a $300+ fine.
I have been seriously thinking the last few weeks of whether I want to become a full-blown meteorologist or stay as a met tech and go back to Alaska. I miss being out in the elements, launching balloons, doing storm damage surveys and running away from creatures who would like to have me for dinner. Unfortunately, met techs don't make alot of money. Meteorologists make more money and have a faster promotion potential, but spend their days behind a computer looking at forecast models. ::sigh:: I'm going to have to sit down with the boss and have a chat about this.
I have found a tune that I want to be my own personal theme song. The song is "Farewell to Cheyenne" from the "Once Upon A Time In The West" soundtrack. It's easy-going, sad and a bit comical, perfect for my life. I want this song played for me, even if I was to come out of the tunnel for the Super Bowl. Instead of running out and hopping around like a big bird, I'd just mosey out...look around....maybe scratch my ass, and then head over to the team.

I don't know what to say, except think about it for a while and go with the one you decide you really want. I'm for the desk job myself, given in my line of work there exists potential to be in life threatening situations (since I plan on finishing out 20 years in the Army, I know I'll spend some time in Iraq or Afganistan sometime...).
Both jobs, however, sound fucking cool.
Oh, I also applied for a webcomics group....denied. Said it was too similiar to existing groups. But I'll email you the list of stuff I read that I'm caught up on.
