hey, thank you for your comment on my blog (the fitness one). interesting! sorry im replying now, like a month later, ive been really busy.  im doing no carbs, or almost none. do you know if theres any health negatives associated with that? cant seem to find any info on that. what have your experiences been?

Thank you so much for reading my comment and considering my advice. I have learned a lot from WebMD.com I have subscribed to several of their newsletters, they are super useful. Regarding cutting out carbs, it's a good approach, but your body needs carbs to have energy. For example our brain is using carbs to function. Everybody needs the proper ratio of carbs to protein to fat. This is from the sfgate.com health section: " an effective 1,200-calorie weight-loss diet may contain 140 grams of carbohydrates, 70 grams of protein and 40 grams of fat." I have followed that and it works. So the recommendation is to reduce calories in general, eat sufficient carbs, protein and fat for your body to function and watch out for the calories you take in versus what you burn throughout the day plus exercise. The big word is exercise. I do every day, at least 1h. If you can't afford 1h, try for 30 minutes and give it everything you have, no mercy, make yourself sweat and feel beaten up in the time you workout. I promise, in a few month you'll stare at yourself in the mirror and will love the results.
