Sushi
Today there was only one cure for what ailed me. I usualy enjoy the fact that my several year running sushi journal is exclusively made up of crappy cell 'phone pics - I feel it adds to the ambiance. Today I felt like taking the platters to the studio. Oh well, priorities won out.
So I will annotate the photos instead:
Hamachi, Maguro, Uni, Ikura (with Quail egg), Ika, Hottategai, Tobiko, Amaebi (with heads), Unagi, Tako

Rainbow Roll, BPP (a house special roll of Maguro, Avacado & Mango covered with Tobiko & Wasabi Tobiko)

Natto te-maki. Not much to say about this, other than you either love it or hate it. Order this and come back three years later and they'll remember you.

Ankimo - though one sushi chef seemed to call it something that sounded more like "Mancgo". The local place does an excellent job of it - it is truly beautiful, with the black tobiko sprinkled over it and in a dilute sesame miso. Too bad it was the worst of the evening's shots. Usually not on the menu - "Oh, I 'll check, maybe we have it in the back.".

I'd say that was a fair job of fishing all in all.

Mind you, the per-round cost is much like a .308!
And you're very welcome for the pictures! I'm just happy you liked them
