Still recovering from last night--saw The Two Towers in a theater packed with infidels. These fuckin' amateurs, I swear, I just wanted to smack them. Half the audience was people like me- hopeless nerds and complete Tolkien fanatics (even a few dress-uppers), but the other half was lightweights that I knew hadn't even read the books yet, and were FALLING ASLEEP!! Asleep? At a LOTR movie? They should be shot, fucking infidels....especially if they're going to go to the midnight show the night before opening day---that time slot is reserved for fans that deserve to see it.
But despite that, it was still an awesome experience. For those who are curious, they stuck exactly to the book--in Fellowship, they left out a few things, but in Two Towers, I can only think of one minor discrepancy from the book.

yeah i'm eternally jealous of you! i went to see it today and they were sold out all day. so i got advanced tickets for saturday at 5:00. time is going to go sooooo slowly before then. i'm so glad they stuck with the second book more than the first. that's one minor thing that bothered me with the first one but i had been waiting for these movies since i was 15 years old. so it's all worth it.

I think I just will have to wait
Although I get to Florida tomorrow so maybe I'll get to see it as soon as I get there!
