Saw LOTR Trilogy last night. Pretty bad ass. Sitting in one seat for 12 hours really didn't bother me. My nerdiness kept me from being satisfied with Return of the King though. For example, the Dunedain were completely left out of the script (which I was expecting because they really show up in the Two Towers, which they weren't in), and the sons of Elrond were cut out. So in the valley of the dead, it was just Aragorn, Legolas, and Gimli...there was a much bigger company in the book. Also, Imrahil/Dol Amroth weren't even mentioned in the movie. If they weren't going to put them in the movie, then at least talk about them. I always thought that was one of the really cool parts in the book-where the newly united nature of the people of middle earth was shown with the new banner of the tree of Gondor, the Mark of Rohan, and the Shield of Dol Amroth. There are other things, but generally a lot of things I would have liked to see in the movie that probably won't make it to the extended DVD either.
Anyway, going Christmas shopping now, gotta go.

This has been crappy weather lately! Indiana is so weird, warm one day, snowing the next! And I most definitely slid completely down a snowy hill today trying to get to class
You should come with me to Florida!
