After my bout of insomnia last night, I finally fell asleep around five, and woke up around ten thirty. I ran two miles on the treadmill, which felt great, even with the lack of sleep. After lunch, I got cleaned up, talked to Rolanda for a bit, then went to pick up my sister. While waiting in the parking lot, I wrote the first verse and chorus of a song Ive named Ruby (see previous post), and finished it when I got home.
Ive spent the evening studying. I finished reading Stone Butch Blues for my Politics of Difference class, and read two articles on the Trail of Tears for US Studies II. Capped off the evening by talking to my friend Megan, which always puts me in a good mood.
