Yeah, I have absolutely nothing going on. There've been a few blips on the radar the past couple weeks, but that's about it.
Today during my run, a six-year-old ran up next to me and asked me what I was listening to on my ipod. That was weird. Cute kid, though, so I gave him an earbud and he said he liked what he heard (The Replacements, Girls, The Bats, etc.). My diet's crap and I run for about an hour and 20 minutes, so that pretty much took it out of me for the rest of the day, so I decided to stay in. I've already gone out three times this week, so I think I filled my quota.
Finals for the summer semester were last week and the last day of them I had both a take home and a paper due and was up for 33 hours straight. I tell ya, all-nighters aren't anywhere near as fun sober. Checked my grades online yesterday and I found out I only got a B- on the take home final. Really disappointed about that one, but I scored a B in the class so I get to keep my financial aid there. About the same time I discovered the paper I had to do for my other class never reached my professor (we had to send it through some weird academic website). I fucking had a panic attack, but luckily, she was cool enough to give me an incomplete and told me that if I put a hard copy in her inbox outside her office, she could rectify the whole thing like that. WIth any luck, I'll score an A in that class, but I dunno, I kind of put that together paper really hastily, so cross your fingers for me.
Classes start next week, but a friend whose wedding I dj'd up in Milwaukee invited me up for a visit next weekend to see Machete and since, like I said, I have absolutely nothing going on, I think I'm gonna take her up on that offer. Fantastic, silly people, her and her husband are, who got married in an old movie theater. How cool is that?
Anyway, I'll leave you guys with one of my new favorite bands:
This makes me miss California.

I love your new profile picture.
I'm digging Best Coast a lot right now.
