I have defeated the candidacy exam.
Now all that stands between me and a Ph.D. is the minor detail of a thesis...

Stress officially getting to me...
Five days in...if I was gonna kill myself I should have done it five days ago...
it's 1am...I can't relax...if I try to sleep I keep thinking that I should be doing chemistry...
Maybe a great idea will come to me in this delusional state. Or maybe my candidacy is gonna suck.

The novelty of 'blogging' long ago wore off, but for some reason I feel compelled to do this at least once a month. I came to the conclusion earlier tonight that walking around in the cold, listening to Africa by Toto when you're lonely is a bad idea...meh, probably wont stop me from doing it again next time....
