Shoutouts are in order to Attorney Boss and Taqueria Boss-Man - I will be off for my entire birthday, 1st time in more years than I can actually remember!!
Attorney Boss is gifting me my first paid vacation since I started working for the firm almost four years ago, and we are transitioning towards a more remote-work friendly paradigm for my duties in general - very happy about this!!
As for the other job, Boss-Man is the closest person I've ever had to an older brother, and he went above and beyond to make it possible for me to plan a fun birthday party!! I will be off from the taqueria job as well on Friday - and to make up for the lost overtime hours, we will be celebrating my birthday -at the restaurant- on Thursday, so we can do the thing where we pin on birthday money with my pieces of flair and farm extra tip money from my customers!!
Since I've started working two jobs, I've been getting about 1 full day off a month... planning to have a fun day around the house with a select few friends invited to swing by throughout the day.
