So, I heard back from SG support team, got a dispassionate reiteration of the situation - "New accounts have a limit to tip funding to their account. This has been put in place as a security measure.". They basically just told me to wait it out - seems I'll have my privileges restored on April 2nd. In the meantime, I've got some blog homework to attend to ;)
