LOVE A HOPEFUL WEEK - APPRECIATION WRITE-UP
Happy "Love A Hopeful Week", SG!! Although tonight marks the official end to our special week, the gratitude isn't going anywhere!! As a matter of fact, as I'm writing this post my account is flagged for "exceeding the maximum funding limit for new members" - I tried to get this fixed in time for a last-minute spurt of appreciation and received an automated message telling me that they would follow-up on Monday during regular working hours - go figure!!!
It's no secret that I play favorites - I suppose this is a natural progression from being born with a ready-to-go best friend, twin brother @nullcertifier !! I owe a shoutout not only to him, but to several awesome SG's who have really made him smile in so many different ways - I'll be writing up a shout-out to all of y'all, apologies that I'll have to digress to this point in a bit!!
As stated - loudly and shamelessly across SG Groups, other people's blog posts, and on random street corners around Houston - It's @amoxi Appreciation Week!! She gently beckoned me to the site upon learning that brother was part of a matched pair - feels like around a month ago now?? I've been a low-key fan of SG even before my 18th birthday - don't judge me lol? - but this marks my first period of sustained engagement with the community. Even before I dig into the big shout-out, I've got to give props to the community and staff - thanks for building a positive, beautiful, and well-moderated social platform!! I ended my long-standing engagement with mainstream social media in late 2017, its really amazing learning that there are still awesome spaces like this largely untouched by the forces tearing apart the interwebs at large!! Thanks to @missy and staff for the all of the hard and often-unthanked-for work maintaining the positive and sexy vibes
I'm not 100% sure, but there's a decent chance I unconsciously remembered Amoxi (Loralei??) from way back when - I've worked out her 1st set - "Breaks" - dropped the week of my 18th birthday!! As originally drafted, this blog post was going to feature samplings from this and other sets, up to her most recent, "Poison Plum", but getting everything arranged correctly is an uphill battle I didn't prepare for when writing this in - just please, please, check out and <3 -ALL- of her sets!!
I can't say for sure how much my own age (33 in four weeks!) is a factor, but as I've stated elsewhere, Amoxi is an insanely versatile dream girl - depending on your fantasy mood, she can read as a sensuous older lady or a sweet young college girl, girl-next-door or kink queen of your wildest dreams, the metal chick you'd love to have by your side at concerts, a green-thumbed Earth Goddess, work-from home flirt, and so on... suffice it to say, I'm smitten with her in SO MANY different ways!!
Behind the persona, Amoxi is well-known for being a generous and supportive soul, seemingly overflowing with love for her family and her friends both on and off SG!! If you appreciate ANY of her work, don't be shy and send her a thank you message!! If anyone deserves to go Pink, she is surely at the top of the list - I don't even remember who I picked this up from, but as the "Amoxi Squad" is fond of saying - she is the hopeful keeping us hopeful!! We are all truly blessed to know and love her <3
As promised earlier, I owe a few other shoutouts to the community - I don't follow any other hopefuls with the same fervor as Amoxi, but credit where due. Thanks especially to "Mistress Sindra", my lover, protector, and number one supporter - I'm not at liberty to share her materials as she isn't on SG, but she is an amazing fire-spinner, costume designer, and my initator into the Deadhead community, Rennaisance Festival scene, Burning Flipside (Texas's largest spinoff from Burning Man), and even my foot in the door to the legal profession!! Thanks so much to her to and NullCertifier for getting me in touch with the SG community at large. Congratulations to new SG @jadestone - no joke, those recipes live rent-free in the family cookbook!
Finally, thanks to hopefuls @cutiepiie and @alessa_goreng and official SG @headshot on behalf of brother-man, who is presently training a new overnight cashier - I'm going to try and talk him to to doing some shout-outs of his own in the morning, even though the week is officially drawing to close.
