Thanks for the awesome topic @missy @charmaine and @rambo.
There is no 'if' in this homework assignment for me, I already own a small business and I am thrilled to share it with you: tada! Welcome to my nail art bar!
I've owned my business for just over a year and I am so proud to have come this far, I literally started from nothing. My fascination with nail art began 3 years ago, I would visit my nail tech every 2 weeks to change the design on my hands, then something struck me one day and a brilliant idea came to mind- 'I can do this too, and probably do it just as well'.
I immediately signed up for a nail tech course, it was like I had been doing nail systems for years, it was a natural talent that I didn't even know I had. As soon as I was qualified I invested all of my savings into my nail bar, times were tough at the beginning, building up a client base was definitely the most challenging part of it all.
I am happy to say that my clientele did grow and I now have a steady income because of all of their support and a Facebook page that is 4K likes strong! All my nail art is delicately hand painted and i specialize in gel and crylic nails.
I've taken so many risks and have almost given up because the beauty is such a cut throat industry, but still I have managed to become a success and one of the most well known nail artists in my town. The future is looking oh so bright.
Love you all madly
