This is a quickie. I've been in meetings since 7am and I have entirely too much to do today...AND two of my siblings are staying with me this week and I want to get out of here and go play with them!!!
Yesterday we went to brunch at Blue Star which is my FAVORITE brunch spot in all of Brooklyn (Manhattan, too, for that matter) because 1) the food is amazing, 2) the place is perky enough to help with the sagging after a Saturday night spent working or out, 3) the staff is nice and 4) you can get a mimosa, shrimp cocktail and one of their friggin' amazing entrees (burgers, latkes benedict, crazy goodness) for $12. No kidding. I can't eat like that for $12 if I stay home! So I say let them do the dishes. Everyone should eat there. I love it.
Then we wandered around Smith Street for awhile and then went to the Botanical Gardens. I go there a fair amount since I'm a walk away and I love the bonsai museum:
I miss my laptop! I'm forced to use my camera phone to snap pictures if I want to send them around since I don't have a way to transfer my digital pictures until the end of the week. I had to take this one:
Nothing like a chain link fence cinched up with a chain and locked into place. Something about it made me hornier that I had been before. *blushing*
*dives back into the stack of work on my desk*

This is my camera. It is my baby as far as digital goes. I got this one for the 4 Megapixels, 10X optical zoom (the higher the optical zoom is, the better... digital zoom means nothing, it came with a remote, it takes movies with sounds, and it can take different lens attachments. These were all things that I decided I needed/wanted in a digital camera.
I also have a Canon Rebel 2000. It is a manual camera. I got this one because it is just the shit. It has different settings for different situations, takes a remote as well, does bulb shots, and it's a CANON! 'Nuff said. Ha ha.
I used to be a photo major... can you tell? Hee hee...
