My life SO DOES NOT SUCK
The rather nasty reverse squeeze that took over my right ear after my first deep dive DID SUCK. I woke up after a mid-afternoon doze on the beach to find that not only was the world spinning completely out of control, but I couldnt keep my lunch down. Bad news. The only thing to do is take antihistamines and an anti-inflammatory until the swelling goes down enough for the air to get out and then the equilibrium is restored and all is right with the world again.
Of course, that takes about two days and until then you kind of alternate between wanting to die and feeling okay. It keeps you beach-bound (re: no diving), too, which just SUCKS.
I did get to do this though:
Yes, that's me with my favorite big red hat!
...I would spend the whole week right there if I could, but my skin tolerates that amount of tropical sunshine for about...10 minutes even with 50 SPF...so it was a quick frame it up and find someone to snap it for me. Oh well. I'm not complaining.
So far, Ive seen turtles, sharks, giant spotted eagle rays (my all time favorite large critter to see while diving here) and tons of tarpon, barracuda, lobster and the like. Ive eaten just about all of them so far, too. HA HA HA.
Me diving...
Smooches to everyone. Ill be back to reliable internet next week.
I'm off to go sing kareoke with a bunch of drunk folks at the local bar.
It's funny. We've been coming down here for so many years that folks actually know us...so I don't even get that annonymous thing going for me anymore! Yikes. Me and Creedence Clearwater Revival....my old standby.

Your journal entry and pics had me fooled. How are things?

Oh, yeah I agree, it is about time--I just thought she'd wait for me!
