Well, my friends wedding came and went. I had reservations about the couple, but I left my negativity at the door. It's hard to be negative in a beautiful place like this:
It was a great location...a golf course right near the SF reservoir:
Both the bride and the groom started cracking up during their vows and one of the bridemaids, her sister, was giggling the entire service. It was pretty funny. The groom, whom is probably one of the most stoic and impenetrable guys I know broke down into tears. His co-workers won't soon let him forget, but I was touched.
I had reservations about the couple, because it seemed like they were not really in love...I dunno..just got that vibe. They never talk, they're 10+ years apart, and she bosses him around , but all that dissolved yesterday when I witnessed the vows. Whatever relationship they have behind closed doors is obviously very deep. Screw us, if we can't understand it...
Anyway...I ended up getting them a bunch of flower vases as a gift...and a Bodum teapot. I hope they get it before they take off for their honeymoon.
Ugh...I have the itching feeling to start working now, but I kinda wanna go to the mall. I want one of those new MP3 players that can play videos...those are SWEET. There is a 60GB Ipod at Costco for $380, but I want the Creative Labs one, because it works with the music service I subscribe to. Meh, I'll decide when I get there I guess.

solveig:
That's such a beautiful place
the most important thing about a relationship is what happens behind closed doors, people are very strange.
