Watched "The Interpreter" last night. I dunno, wasn't bad, but left no lasting effects on me. Nice to see Sean Penn coming back.
Pretty much a lazy day so far. Weather has been GORGEOUS this past week...so nice after 2 straight months of rain. Already did my grocery shopping for the week...not much else to do but kick back on the porch with a beer.
I fired up all my music equipment this morning and just kinda stared at it for an hour. Came up with a nice little percussion/bassline but that's about it. No songs to speak of.
My turn to cook dinner tonight, so I comparing and contrasting corned beef vs. spaghetti bolognese. For some reason, I bought a 4 lb. pack of butter at Costco, so like, I'd better bake something. I'm thinking a banana rum cake with rum icing. or perhaps bana bread pudding with chocolate ships, pecans, and bourbon sauce. Just what my fat ass needs!
Well, not much else to say ...need to get back out and enjoy this nice weather before I lose interest...the TV is calling..must resist!
